Robotic Dispensing

Our PharmASSIST ROBOTx HLR-140 PB is a linear robot that includes 140 dispensers and a puck input queue. The robot supports the use of both 120cc and 240cc bottles. The robot’s input queue can hold 10 or more pucks, and can be extended if space permits. Each ROBOTx HLR-140 PB fills up to 240 Rxs/hour.

Continuous Operation

You can replenish dispensers while the ROBOTx HLR-140 PB continues filling prescriptions, helping increase efficiency and throughput, and enabling continuous operation. Additionally, the robot has a built-in override capability, which allows for manual intervention and continued fulfillment of prescriptions, if necessary. In this mode, the robotic gantry is disabled and operators can retrieve prescriptions from dispensers just as when using our cabinet-based counting technology.

Conveying

The puck conveying system employs RFID technology and routes prescriptions placed in pucks to and from the robotic dispensing system and to all workstations. The pucks’ RFID tags communicate with Symphony to facilitate real-time Rx tracking for all prescriptions.

PharmASSIST Symphony for High Volume serves as the operations control center for your system. Symphony tracks virtually every event in the system, and includes a customer-specific dashboard that provides real-time status and full visibility into your site’s daily activity. Symphony’s information management and reporting tools help you tightly manage and optimize the performance of your system and staff on an ongoing basis. Depending on your requirements, you can configure your system to include any number of Symphony workstations for manual filling and Rx verification.

We employ our sophisticated process simulation to design and prove out the workflow, layout, and projected scale prior to system build. Our seasoned team also works with you on all other requested add-ons and will simulate, test, and present the impact of additional technologies, workstations, and so on prior to installation.

The dispenser self calibrates the counting of virtually all newly added medications, enabling your staff to add new medications to dispensers immediately and spend more time focused on your patients.
