Pharmacy automation leader’s securing of multiple large contracts has driven need for specialized positions across the board

Innovation, makers of PharmASSIST® pharmacy automation solutions, today announced that it has hired 48 new employees in recent months due to recent growth with new customers and expanded services to existing customers. Innovation’s new employee positions range from manufacturing and customer service to software development and engineering to program management and sales.

“We’ve secured multiple large contracts with both government and commercial pharmacies since late last summer, which required us to find talented people with specialized skills in all areas of our business, especially in our software and various engineering departments,“ said Michael Sabitus, executive vice president, finance, Innovation. “We’re still aggressively hiring and in need of software, IT, engineering, and customer service professionals to help us fill key roles.”

Innovation has had a regular presence at numerous career fairs throughout Broome County in Upstate New York, including at Binghamton University. The company will hold their own Recruitment Fair at the Tioga Career Center, 1062 Route 38, in Owego, NY on May 17th from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM, said Erin Smith, Innovation’s director, human resources.
